The Last Week of Class

The last week of class has been very hectic. All I've been doing is making up work. At least I used to do all my work on time so I don't really have a lot of make-up work. I'm just ready to ace my final exams and move on for the summer semester. I'm also looking for jobs now, because my next semester schedule is better than this semester. Hopefully I find one because I really need it. Memorial weekend is also coming up so that should be a lot of fun.

Is Love Ever Painless?

I believe everyone will encounter love at least once in their lives. I truly feel we have a love/hate relationship with love. It can be the most beautiful thing in this world, but it can also be painful and hurt. No one ever wants to be heartbroken but it happens to all of us. I, personally, hate it. Why does it have to happen? Seriously, is it to teach us about life? Or learn about ourselves. Maybe to let us know when that person is not the right one for us. Sometimes it makes the relationship stronger. Once you've gone through so many things with one person it makes you wonder, why would I want to do this all over with someone else? I truly don't know and I believe no one truly knows, and just like that it's a part of life. Is love ever painless? I believe assumption #1: Love conquers all. If it is true love it will survive through whatever comes its way. I strongly believe 'If its meant to be, it will be'. You cannot force anything but you shouldn't just leave it either. Which reminds me of assumtion #4: True love is forever. The only time I can think about going against this assumtion is when someone is left widowed and they have lost their true love, but other than that true love is forever. Which is kind of like assumption #3. I honestly feel there is someone out there for everyone and you'll meet that person sooner or later.

Easter Weekend

My friends came down from Tallahassee this weekend so of course we had to celebrate. I don't usually go out so everytime they come down we HAVE to. Any ways we didn't do anything major just mostly chilled together. Because like I said in previous posts we're going to celebrate big on Memorial weekend so we're trying to save money. We just went out to dinner on Friday to Long Horn and then to a billiard's pool hall with some other people. Oh yeah and then Denny's after that; jees that was alot in one day. I love when they come down though because it's laughter after laughter. OMG! It was fun and then we spent most of Saturday together but then I went to my aunt's house. Which I love cause she cooks so good, ugh. Then spent today with my boyfriend, who akes me mad.

Getting Ready

I haven't been writing any blogs lately, I just been real busy. Any who, I'm getting ready for Memorial weekend with my friends. Hopefully we have a lot of fun and go out everyday. I mean its only a weekend so we have to find a couple things to do. We decided we're getting a room at El Palacio and have a 'sex party' (with no sexual relations) at the pool. And then of course we're going out to the clubs and out to eat like always. I am really looking forward to it, hopefully we have a whole lot of fun!

Back to School

So Spring Break is over (sucks). I'm kind of ready to get back to school though. My Spring Break wasn't with my other friend's, so I didnt really do anything. Now that they're here we're actually going out, so now it sucks that I have to go back to school. I can say I only went to a concert and to a club on my Spring Break, but whatever we're planning on doing more stuff during the week. Now I have to start writing my paper (procrastinator).

Live Your Life Concert

Yesterday was the "Live Your Life Concert" with T.I., Young Jeezy, Sean Paul and Lloyd. I'm not a big fan of T.I. but I just went to accompany my friend, who is a HUGE T.I. fan(seriously). I do vibe with Jeezy though, and his performance was very good, even though expected.Lloyd and Sean Paul were the opening acts so they weren't so big, but their performance was good. I liked both of their music. I listened to them before but I never really paid attention. They have some good songs though. Now this is Miami so I already knew that most people were going to be there for Jeezy, and when he came out it was noticable. OMG people were wild! There were people there that knew word for word, people you wouldn't think were such big fans. Then came on T.I., and like i said I am not a big fan but it turned out being a good performance. My friend was going crazy and it seemed like it was only him and her in the stadium. It was nice and I really enjoyed myself. That was my first concert and I am looking forward to more. I can't wait til Kanye West or Keyshia Cole come to Miami, I would would really spazz out!

I am just getting home from picking up the novel at Barnes and Nobles. I started reading it and it's not totally boring, but it has not caught my attention yet. Any who this week has been okay. I really can not wait til Spring Break though. The Panama City Beach plans are off (womp womp) but hopefully I'll still be able to make it to Tallahassee. I really been wanting to go just to visit my friends and party with them. And I wish someone would of told me about Ratemyprofessor.com earlier! OMG I'm going to have to say that I really don't like my SLS teacher but decided to stay with her because I did not know if any other teacher might have been worst. Well, little did I know about this very helpful website and I am really upset that I did not fully know about it earlier. Someone on there really agreed with me on the teacher.UGH! Don't worry Mrs. Alessandri, everything said about you was good (=. All I know is that I need to stop by there next semester!!!

Valentine's Day Weekend

Happy Valentine's Everybody!
This VDay turned out good for me. I'm a very simple person and don't really expect anything out of this world. Well my boyfriend bought me a BIG stuffed puppy, chocolate, and a balloon. I was very pleased, and very happy at the fact that we were suppose to go to Olive Garden. Now i knew all the restaurants were going to be packed, so I thought about calling first. Well, I called the Olive Garden on Pines to ask how long the wait was. It was around like 5 o'clock and i was thinking of going like @ 6 because i knew the later it was, the longer the wait will be. The hostess told me that it was a 30 minute wait, which was not that bad, but she said that it was gonna get longer. I've really been craving a dish there so I HAD to go to Olive Garden. I started getting ready and left my bf house around 6, arriving to OG @ around 6:20. The wait was an hour but we decided to wait, because we knew that it would be like that in any other restaurant. So we had a very good meal and ended the night at my mother's house, watching tv and cuddling. Perfect (=

Must Read

This is for anyone who likes to read urban books. I just read this book called Every Thug Needs A Lady by Wahida Clark. This was hands-down one of the best books I've read. Now I read all types of book as long as they keep me interested. My favorites type would have to be urban books though. Maybe because I can relate more to what they talk about, and the things they talk about keep me interested. Well, this book is a sequal and the one I was reading was the 2nd. I am going to read the back, because it explains better:

Spring Break

Hey there bloggers,
I'm back on here, like we're suppose to be every week. Well, this week I chose to write about Spring Break. Me and my friends are planning a trip this Spring Break to (drum rolls) Panama City Beach, FL. I've never planned a trip anywhere before so I don't really know what to do. So if any one has any request please leave a comment. I been looking online for hotels and events. I found that during the week of March 8th, MTV will be there. So we're trying to look for some hotels around there. My friend Charnay is telling me that the kids around her school in Tally been talking about it, so hopefully we'll have a fun time. We been calculating the cost and it sounds okay, so...I just hope we end up having a lot of fun for SB. We're planning on renting a Magnum, so we're going to be looking real cute. I mean of course we're going shopping the week before. I just hope everything goes as planned or better. And in case you did not know orange is my favorite color = ).

In 10 Years

I have been thinking about my future alot lately. Basically because I wish I can graduate college as fast as possible. I just want to get my career started already. I see myself mariied with kids in the next 10 years. Residing in the middle of Manhattan. Have an all black Range Rover, living life. Hopefully my i will be successful in my career as a PR agent. Maybe even have my own PR firm. Mingle with the rich and famous. I kind of feel that i might be into my work alot. I mean the PR field is a very fast-paced, hectic lifestyle. But I will always make sure to make time for my hubby and my kids. I wil still have my same friends and hopefully they'll be successful too, and come to visit me all the time. =). I just hope that I will be happy and fulfilled.

What does the word "friend" mean to you?

A friend to me is someone that you can trust 100%. Like if something happened thats the first name that comes to mind, "Damn let me call____". A friend has to always be honest. They would tell you when they think your wrong. Even if you are wrong, and they know your wrong, they'll just be like "alright alright" and just let it go cause they aleady know how you are. Someone who's genuine, not phony or fake, cause believe it's hard to find a geniune person these days. Just someone who you know will always be there through thick and thin, when you need to cry, or when you need to laugh. That someone who's just ALWAYS there and always will. I am glad to have found 2 very close friends of mine, Maurine and Charnay. These have to be the realist people I know. (and believe i know). I am just really greatful for them. I mean i believe the saying that God puts everyone in your life for a reason. So basically everyone who you've come across has been for a reason. And those 2 are my reason for friendship. I've known them for a couple of years now, and those will be the b**ches at my college graduation, my wedding, my baby shower, and at my house everyday after that. They've always been there, yeah we've had our arguments, but as you can see it only made the friendship stronger. I love them and I know they love me too. Those are my ride or dies. They are always one phone call away if someone gets out of line,LMAO.J/K. Now i would like to hear some responses to this blog. Thanks for reading

My name is Cristina and I'm gonna let you know a little about me. I have very cool parents and I am the oldest child on my mother's side. I have an 11 year old brother and a 4 or 5 year old sister. LOL yea thats sad that I don't know how old she is but anywho... I am the only child on my daddy's side. = ) yea. I live with my loving grandparents and my dad. I have a BIG family. I went to Skyway Elementary and then South Hialeah Elementary. I considered myself one of the cool kids. Then I went on to Miami Springs Middle and to Miami Springs High. But then i transfered to Miami Central and became a Rocket. = ). Where I met my first love, Edward, but we're not together anymore but we still talk. Then I graduated from Hialeah-Miami Lakes as c/o 2008. Yay! While at HML I was a Flagette for the band. Where I learned the difference between phony and real. That is when i met my closest friends that I wouldn't trade for the world, Charnay, Maurine, and Cleo. Charnay and Cleo are at TCC right now. And Maurine was suppose to start BC with me btu had some problems. She'll be here soon though. I love going out with them to clubs, parties, eating, shopping, movies, and just vibe. Now I find myself 19 years old at Broward College, with a car, no job (but looking), and just focusing on me and what I want to be. I just found out what I wanted to major in. I am majoring in Public Relations. Being in the PR field and working for the fashion or entertainment business in the NY is my goal. That is me all the way and that is what I'm going to do.
